Bring your own boards & this beach is a great place to catch fun waves! This is more of a local spot, so make sure to be respectful of the land (pack up your own trash). I came with my niece who is 5 years...More

Terrific spot to relax all day with the family. Waves consistent, sand soft. This public park has picnic tables, restrooms and BBQ grills.. Bring water, towels, boards, sunscreen & beach umbrella. No stores within walking distance. Make friend/family memories @ Launiupoko Beach.

I have driven past this park many times on the way to Lahaina but never stopped. This trip i decided to explore it and I wasn't disappointed. This is a beautiful park with lots of shade and all of the amenities (bbqs, tables, rest room,...More

We were doing a do it yourself drive it tour and stumbled on this beautiful beach. We stayed awhile and enjoyed seeing young surfers trying their best. We were midweek and later in the day so not a parking problem..

Some folks were camping, some were just enjoying the sun and surf, and others like me were enjoying the photo opportunities. Easy to get on and off of the highway and get in and out of the park. Worth stopping for a few minutes to...More

Needing to find a beach where my daughter could surf and the rest of us could swim or just lay around, Launiupoko Beach Park is almost ideal. The waves were plentiful for a beginner/intermediate surfer and the beach was great for general water play for...More

Nice beach, excellent sunsets from here. Right off the highway, but don't go on the weekends. The locals, who usually only have off during the weekend, completely take over the park, from birthday parties to reunions. No problems, but they deserve it. Go another day.

Popular park for locals. Great for kid parties that occur almost every weekend. Parking is insufficient for the crowds that attend

Even at 8am on a weekend this beach was busy. We luckily managed to find a parking spot and enjoyed a stroll along the small beach area, but personally I prefer quieter beaches. Would go back if parking was available but wouldn't wait for parking...More

I'd suggest Kimo's on Front Street, but parking can be tough. It's lovely, well known for good food and gorgeous views, could be crowded b/c it's popular. Another idea is Frida's Beach House behind Safeway on the water. It's... More
