Experience exciting lu'au entertainment right at our Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. The sound of the conch, the beating of the drums, and the echoes of the Hawaiian chant signal the start of Hawaii's most exciting Lu'au. "Drums of the Pacific" Polynesian Spectacular takes you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia, complete with a traditional imu ceremony and the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian cuisine. We feature authentic dances and music of the old Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga, and Rarotonga in the hottest Lu'au Show in the Islands. See a preview of our lu'au here. Our Drums of the Pacific adventure includes:•Greeting with a shell lei and fresh mai tais or fruit punch for each guest •A delightful performance of Hawaiian music •Traditional arts and crafts demonstrations •Impressive torch lighting ceremony •Authentic imu ceremony - the unveiling of the main dish, Kalua Pua'a. •Friendly greetings by Royal Polynesians, followed by a Polynesian fashion show featuring the islands most exotic pareaus (sarong) in creative styles. •An all-you-can-eat generous buffet including Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Grilled Fish, Polynesian Rice, Vegetables Makamaka, Tropical Fruits Anuenue, Soba Noodles, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Pacific Ahi Poke, Tossed Green Salad, and Poi (taro). •Lavish dessert bar featuring Macadamia Nut Lu'au Cream Pie, Haupia with Toasted Coconut, Pineapple Cake and Bread Pudding. It's a great Hawaiian Lu'au Feast served throughout the first half of the show. •Open bar featuring beer, wine, mixed cocktails, mai tais, and fruit punch. Join us for an unforgettable experience on your vacation. We'll see you there. ALOHA!!!

It seems like this luau gets a bad rap sometimes but it really is a good luau. It’s not crazy authentic and they don’t have the activities before hand like other luau’s but the food is good (HELLO ITS A BUFFET, lower your expectations) the...More

This was our first luau with young children ages 4 and 7, and our first luau in over 10 years. I must preface this review with a disclaimer that we got comp tickets by attending a time share presentation. Thus we had no expectations coming...More

The good: The food and show are good. Show is entertaining. The performers are very good. Service and drinks are good. We had preferred seating which is the second row of seats from the stage. Seemed to be worth the extra amout paid for them...More

Very average performances/food/drinks - For the same price you can see the Lu'au at a much better resort, such as Grand Wailea. The seating was terrible too - noone was sitting facing the stage and we were sitting with our sides facing the stage. The...More

If you’ve never done a luau you should at least once. Free drinks. Food is good, not great but they were feeding 600+ppl buffet style. Very good service and glad for the experience. Now that I’ve done it, I probably won’t again.

We went last night. I paid for 6 people preferred seating. The seats were got were not good, still really far from stage. They should have less preferred seating so the people who pay more all have a great seat. They ran out of the...More

We booked online as we were staying at the hotel, so thought it would be easy logistically. The tickets suggest turning up early for registration, this is just getting a yellow card with the number of guest on and then queuing for a long time....More

This was a fun night. We were staying nearby, so we could walk here. The food was good with lots of choices. The show itself was entertaining as it covered the various Polynesian dances. Depending where you sit, you may find yourself in the sun...More
