At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours....

At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours. Downhill Bike Tours on Haleakala and "Private Tours" of the Road to Hana. The "Private Tours" of the Road to Hana are exclusive only, we do not combine groups for this tour. The Downhill Bike Tour is also offered privately.

On the downhill bike tour we ride custom made bikes (Worksman Cycles) 25 miles and 99% of the whole ride is downhill. The bike tour is entirely on paved roadways and there is an escort van that covers your back the whole time you are on the bike. Sometimes we reach high speeds on the bikes and other times we just cruise. It's nice to have the flexibility to meet the needs and desires of each group. It's an amazing rush riding down Haleakala on one of our bikes, it is the worlds largest dormant volcano and we ride down the steepest paved road in the world...amazing! Our tours are completely guided, both owners Billy and Billy guide the tours, on occasion we do take days off and we have excellent guides that fill in part time for the bike tour. We are pretty much always available to answer any questions you may have either by phone or by email. We do run the longest bike tour available on Maui. Others may say the same thing, but we have a tape measure available for you to use while you are with us, just in case you wish to measure it for yourself. Honestly and seriously, we run the best bike tour on Maui and we don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're looking for a tour that does not herd you around and guides that truly love what they do, then look no further. We are easily one of the top 10 tours on Maui and one of the top 10 things to do on Maui! Most people try to saw their car in half if they don't have a bike, just so they can go down Haleakala on two wheels. That's how cool our tour is. Please call us before you try that! We offer our tour at 9am or in the afternoon at 1:30. Sorry, we are unable to pick you up from your hotel at 2:30 in the morning to see the sunrise. You will just have to "sleep in" on your vacation. The cost is $99 per person or book a private tour with up to 8 riders for $700.. Those are unbelievable savings, call now while we still have our tour in stock! If you are under 12 y/o we cannot take you on our downhill bike tour. Check out our webpage for other restrictions.

If you are interested in our "Private Tour" of the Road to Hana, "that tour is not on a bicycle", please call us, or email us through our website. The Private Tour of the Road to Hana is by car. The Road to Hana Tour is "exclusive to only you and your particular group" whether it is 1 or several people. The tour goes to many hidden and out of the way places that you would other wise most likely not see without a guide. The Hana Tour is customized to you and your group. We can go cliff jumping, swimming in "waterfalls", body surfing in the ocean, snorkeling, "hiking", swimming in caves, sightseeing, so much more, and all on one tour. This tour can be extreme and adrenaline filled or it can be simple and chill, whichever you prefer. Please feel free to call for more details. Check out the reviews, people love it!

Our first day on Maui was unforgettable thanks to Billy's guidance on the road to Hana. We saw beautiful remote locations by starting on the "back side" of the island and have some great professional quality photos taken by Billy. Then, in the afternoon we got to the "traditional" part of the road when many visitors were already finished, so... More

My girlfriend and I did the Haleakala bike ride. Had a great time - Billy is the best! We had read about how good the donuts on a stick were but unfortunately the bakery was closed the day we went (Wednesday). We ended up getting them later in the week - they are awesome!

My wife and I got a personal local tour of all the backside of Maui has to offer on our Road to Hana tour with our tour guide Billy with Easy Riders. The scenery is beautiful and could alone make the trip worth it but Billy gave us a true locals tour and had a exploring hidden waterfalls, jumping into... More

My husband and I visited Maui in October for our honeymoon. It was highly recommended that we do the Road to Hana, however we didn't want to drive on our own after reading some of the reviews. We are so happy that we booked with Maui Easy Riders! We drove with Billy who showed us the road less travelled (started... More

Watching the sunrise over haleakala crater was a highlight of our vacation. It was truly spectacular and worth getting up in the middle of the night to go. 3 members of our family biked down the volcano for a sunrise tour, while 2 of us followed in the van. While I was in the van, I could see the tour... More

THis was awesome. We did the 9:00 am ride. BIlly was our guide and Tim followed in the van. This activity is good for anyone that knows how to ride a bike. No pressure to go fast or to keep up with anyone else. This ride was gorgeous with stops for pictures. One stop before the ride to grab a... More

I can't say enough good things about Maui Easy Riders. My husband and I did a Road to Hana tour with Marty last week that covered the full Road to Hana. The tour was absolutely amazing. Marty knew so much about the different cultures on Maui, the history of the sites that we visited, and the different plants that we... More

If you like spectacular sweeping views, and a safe, exciting and fun adventure, then these are your guys...and this is your tour! So, it's a bike ride...that's 25 miles downhill on a national park quality road that winds down a VOLCANO, with super fun and professional instructors. Billy and his crew make it extra special. The equipment is easy to... More

We took Billy's Road to Hana tour for our honeymoon and it was easily hands down the best thing we did on our trip to Maui. My wife and I had an amazing fun-filled day with Billy as he drove us through the entire Hana highway, taking us to the most amazing hidden gems on the island, giving us fun... More

We had done the Haleakala bike tour on our honeymoon in 2006 and when we had a cruise day in Maui, we wanted to do it again (it was one of the best things that we did during our honeymoon!). Being that we were coming in on a cruise ship, I had a hard time finding a bike company that... More
