We planned our visit to include Sunday worship and we were very happy with the service and building. The Hawaiian singing was beautiful.

Found the Church on the way to a museum nearby. The grounds have a cemetery for the family that donated the property for a church. Great place to visit and walk around, very nice and peaceful. Worth your time to stop and see.

This is a beautiful old church, although relatively simple in design (i.e. no large stained glass, etc.). Nice to visit if you are in the area, but what makes it truly come alive is the worship of it's people. Still has service at 9 am...More

Apparently it is one of the oldest if not the oldest church in Hawaii. This is a reconstruction and not the original but it still is more than a hundred years old. Take a look inside if you have a bit of time

In a historical tour of Wailuku, this is essential to visit. Mom could walk to it from her home down the street.

I have only admired from outside, but oh it is such a pretty church that I want to investigate further. The structure, the grounds, everything about it hold a reverence.

This is a beautiful old building with an incredible huge tree on its grounds. It reminds me of New England.

Beautiful historical Hawaiian church with an amazing spreading Monkeypod tree in the front. There is a park on the corner with a picnic table where you can lunch and watch the chickens and chicks chasing around the lawn. If you arrive in the 3rd Thursday...More
