Great View. Good Service.

Must visit for Happy Hour. Molokai is expensive, but not the happy hour here! The view South looking at Lanai is terrific. I had stirfry for dinner. Delicious. Live music.

Great laid back atmosphere, with a 5-piece band playing good music, a mix of old classics and Hawaiian tunes. Locals and tourists with a friendly vibe. The food was good, especially the fish. Big portions, pretty good value.

The Hotel Molokai is as close as you can get to Tahiti in the Hawaiian Islands. Conveniently located just 2 1/2 miles east of Kaunakakai, the hotel is located along a quiet, well protected shoreline with a view of the island of Lanai just nine miles across the channel and the restaurant is located right on the shoreline with views... There are only two bars on the entire island of Molokai so it is slim pickings when you need to wet your whistle. You will get to meet some interesting locals and get lots of expert advice on things to do and where to go and oh yeah, the drinks are pretty great as well!

Unfortunately the kitchen was not operational, so no food available, but the view from this location is great. There was local music on the Friday afternoon we visited and it's not to be missed! Stop by for a drink, or better yet, stay at the hotel!

We stayed one night at the the Hotel Molokai, and visited the bar for some pre-dinner drinks. There was just 3 locals, the bartender and us. and we all quickly became friends! The drinks were very good and the fruit was fresh. One of the locals even recommended the Paddler's Inn in Kaunakakai for dinner. The bar itself is located... More

If you are thinking grand hotel on a beach in Hawaii this isn't for you! But if you want a beautiful, authentic Polynesian atmosphere it is stunning! Spacious rooms...individual Polynesian huts. Comfy beds. Kitchenette. No air conditioning but fans and trade winds do the job at night. Great pool and bar. Restaurant wasn't re opened when we were there but... More

Last summer the restaurant at the Hotel Molokai was damaged by fire. It still has not reopened, however the bar is flourishing. Due to a friend who has a house on Molokai, i have visited this bar on perhaps too many occasions. It is right on the beach and has a great view of the water. It is very charming... More

Meet new friends and share travel stories with locals and fellow travelers alike. The bartenders are great (don't forget to tip) and very easy going.
