Set right on Hwy 450 but the lack of traffic means the peace is rarely disturbed. The small graveyard is interesting to walk around and the church is simply beautiful.

I don't care if you are Catholic or not you should appreciate this man's work. Father Damien traveled to the Molokai leper colony to bring order to hell on earth. While on-island he built a number of churches. This is one of them. It was constructed with his own hands and represents a living relic. Experience The Holy Spirit.

My husband & I stopped by Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church while on an island tour in May 2016. This is one of the Father (now Saint) Damian churches on Molokai. This small beautiful church is worth visiting. Our native tour guide sang to us in this church, which was incredibly moving. You could really feel Father Damian's... More

Mass is early Sunday morning. The church has been restored from when Father (now Saint) Damien) built it. A very pretty country church. plenty of parking on the grounds. Some old graves. including a WWII Marine - SEMPER FI. God Bless.

I must disclose that my wife and I were married in this church 20+ years ago. We were living on Oahu at the time and spent many weekends on Moloka'i. Moloka'i is a special place for us. Nothing fancy here. Just a basic church, but oh so beautiful and the grounds and the history, AMAZING! We renewed our marriage vows... More

One of two churches on topside Molokai that was built by Father Damien about 1888. Sunday Mass at 7am. A great place to meditate. Just down the road is Kalua'aha Congregational Church, (the church with no roof) built around 1828 by the first protestant missionaries to arrive on Molokai. Services the fourth Sunday of every month at 12 noon. Very... More

One of the older churches on the island. It is near Coconut Row. It is an older church, not many young families or children.

If you love old churches or history, it is a nice stop. There is a small cemetery on the property, some pretty flowers and nice grounds. The dirt driveway is short and you can park anywhere on the lawn. Services are still held here.
