The sunset was AMAZING :)

We were driving by just before sunset so we pulled over and enjoyed the sunset. Such a friendly feel in the North shore area. Every park in the area is inviting and beautiful.

Another great beach along the famed north shore of Oahu. Beautiful sand beach, great warm water. Parking was easy and a Must See on the beach tour

After being disappointed at Turtle Beach for the absence of turtles when we visited, we drove down to Haleiwa Beach park & were delighted to see turtles in the surf (but not onshore). Ample parking & there are surf lessons on offer for those interested.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach. The waves were big but we brought a tube so we felt comfortable getting in the water. There are surfers in the ocean but they are far from the shore so you won't bother them nor do they scare you. Cleanliness of the bathrooms were ok. There are some space for you to... More

Loved the beach and swimming - easy to handle waves. There is a high rock at the left hand side where teenagers love to jump about 8 meters down into the water - quite challenging. Great white beach - totally loved it - didn´t stay to long unfortunately - that day it was raining quite a bit

This is a much safer option compared to many of the other beaches.A good place to learn to surf and close to town

one of the best beaches on the north shore!! we've traveled 1 hr every other day to come to this non-touristy location for some great poke and fun in the sun... the waves, no matter the time of the day were like music to our ears.... at first, it looked private, but there's plenty of parking during the weekday, and... Visited here after Waimea Beach Park and it was underwhelming when comparing the waves and colour of the water....looked good for kids though. If you want to just lay around and watch the sunset, go to Sunset beach or Waimea Bay

Haleiwa is a really neat town. It has the off the beaten path, old surfer town feel that you look for when coming to Hawaii. There are a lot of great shops, along with some great beaches, where I'd say you could sit and watch surfers take on the waves, but you probably shouldn't actually get in the water. Absolutely...
