We visited Waimea Falls Park with our two kids, who are 6 and 8. The price was reasonable, the hike was easy with kids, and the park was beautiful. I wish we had known that there would be a changing room right next to the falls, where you can change into dry clothes. Next time we will be more prepared.

This site is more commercialized than Manoa Falls. The trail is paved all the way and the hike is never challenging. The grounds along the way have some of the most beautiful botanic specimens. The trip to the falls is nothing short of amazing, but once you reach the falls, it's rather anticlimactic. The waterfall is tiny compared to Manoa,... More

I loved my visit!!!! The gardens are stunning, with a wide variety of tropical flora from around the world. Swimming at the falls was delightful. The gift shop had friendly and helpful staff, and had nice souvenirs at a fraction of what you would pay at other retailers.

Take a dip in a beautiful waterfall! A once in a lifetime experience. The water is cold, the steps in are rocky but the thrill of swimming in a waterfall can't be missed. There is a guard on duty that will fit you with a life vest and a changing room to put on a bathing suit. The walk up... More

Lovely area for all. Paved access with lots of paths to explore. Easy walk up to the falls where you can swim in the pool at the base. Life guards on duty who give you a life vest to swim in the pool. No vest, no swim. Beautiful gardens and we'll set out to maximise the experience.

This is a must stop to take a walk up to the waterfalls and to view the beautiful plants, trees and wildlife of the North Shore. Cultural site and good for all ages.

This is a beautiful place to walk through. You walk through a path of botanical gardens, restored village huts of the ancient people, and swim in a waterfall at the top. It's an easy hike but they can shuttle you up if you're not up to walking. Would definitely recommend visiting this place!!

The big draw at this park is the waterfall that lies relatively deep within the park. Although the hike is easy (and very, very pretty), it does take quite some time to mosey back to the waterfall, swim, and get back to the car. Plan on at least 2 hours if you want some time to swim, enjoy the gardens,... More

Great and easy hike. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The waterfall was great. We took a lot of nice pictures and were able to get really close to it. Make sure you plan enough time to spend here. We did not realize how long the hike would take and were not able to swim at the waterfall because we had... More
