Vic Fazio course forgiving for long hitter

Forgiving course. Few lost balls. Great for the long hitter with the occasional slice - no problem finding balls off the fairway. No food or water (except one warm fountain... read more

Forgiving course. Few lost balls. Great for the long hitter with the occasional slice - no problem finding balls off the fairway. No food or water (except one warm fountain) on the course. Yummy restaurant at Pro Shop and 9th hole - call in for a delicious sandwich and pickup as you make the turn if you are hungry. Bring... More

I'm a local resident and have played Turtle Bay (Both Courses) a lot over the years. I normally join their local player annual membership programs. The courses are great and the local staff are excellent. The reason for my poor rating is that they have handed the booking over to a mainland company. I booked a tee time on line... More

I highly recommend a round at the Palmer course at Turtle Bay. It is an amazing course with interesting holes. It could use a GPS but I can't say anything bad about this terrific track!

I am a single handicap that has been playing golf for 10 years. I had been struggling as of late and just couldn't put my finger on what I was doing wrong. I believe that I know just enough about the game and techniques that can get me in trouble!! ( sometimes less is more.haha) Anyways I decided to get... More

We have played the Palmer and Fazio course a few times and on the last visit, as a non resort player, we felt we were just processed. Despite taking a healthy slice of dollars for the round and clubs, there was limited friendliness that we have seen there previously. Would I rush back to play there again? No, there are... More

Just like most reviews, golf courses can be one man's paradise and another man's goat ranch. That said, after my recent visit to Turtle Bay (Late Feb 2017), I walked away very disappointed in the experience and consider the entire facility over rated. Let me preface this by saying I have played some very nice, and some very prestigious golf... More

Our twosome had a tee time at the Palmer course at 7AM, so when we drove in, it is quite difficult to tell where the clubhouse is. They could definitely use some lighting. It's still pretty dark at 630AM but the staff was ready to load the carts and they provided a wet towel as it was still a little... More

Played the Fazio course and given the green fees I expected a lot more from the course and service levels. Course was in rough shape; I believe it hosted an LPGA event in 2008 and it is a long way from being able to do that again. It feels like there are money issues with the resort and golf course... We are golf vacation folks, and you need so come here and play the Palmer. Great course, well kept, amazing views....The Fazio is a bit weak on the front 9, but it gets better on the back

Best course I've ever played. If you're a Golfer, this is a must course! The best ocean views, well maintained course, and best contour from volcanic terrain to ocean coves. This picture is just a small example of scenes to expect.
