Kalama is a segment of the lovely Kailua Beach. There is very limited parking and folks wait in line far spaces to open. Consider yourself lucky to find an open space. The beach is clean and water is usually better than further down the way...More

The park was a private residence that was long ago donated to the city. The only amenities are the bath house and shower, but you don't need much more than that. The beach itself is nice white sand that won't burn your feet, and there...More

This strip of white sand beaches runs for a couple of miles, you can or will be forced to park in the street which is cool as long as you do not obstruct a driveway, you get to the beach from spaces they have in...More

Can't count on parking here, very limited, but if you can find a spot, or off street its a nice place for a beach visit. They've got restrooms and outdoor shower for rinsing off, and miles of beach to walk. Not overly crowded, even on...More

I have lived in Kailua for seven of the last 10 years, and this has consistently been my favorite stretch of the long beach facing Kailua Bay. It is less crowded than Kailua Beach Park but still offers the same excellent view, calm waters, and...More

This is a nice spot; good facilities. The beach view is fab. Close to some eateries across the street. However....some unpleasant odors from the creek.

Great access point to Kailua Beach, but hardly any parking as this one has a pretty small lot. However, unlike the others, Kalama had a great working shower and open restrooms - the others at Kailua Beach were closed - hopefully under renovation, but there...More

I love Kalama Beach, especially since I live only a block away (so convenient). The sunrises are beautiful and lots of beach to walk (this is even the beach the past President loves to visit on his trips to Oahu). No bathrooms or showers. Little...More
