Had the privilege to stay at Aulani for 8 days which uses the lagoon as its main beach. The view never gets old here. The protected cove makes it perfect for paddle-boarding and swimming. Kids tried to boogie board but were disappointed as there really is no surf.

Drove over to Ulua Lagoon to spend the day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Man made lagoons break up the waves which make it nice for the little ones. Tons of locals yet not crowded or noisy, even with the kids playing. Great views of the waves and there are facilities there. You can sit on either the beach or grassy... More

We have been here several times and enjoyed it every time. Very relaxing with tame waters. You can see a variety of marine life and it is usually not too crowded, especially during the week.

Great place to go watch the sunset without having to be a guest at one of the hotels. You can park nearby and go sit on the rocks and watch the sun go down. Amazing lagoon to swim safely.

I believe that they have 4 lagoons which are all publicly accessible. Each one is similar and great for swimming or beach activities.

This my second return to Ko'Olina lagoon. I love walking along the shore, enjoying a sunset, and spotting turtles. It's so peaceful and enjoyable. Make sure you wear proper footwear for walking on the rocks.

Easy swimming. Lovely walk with lots of shade and plenty of hotel restaurants along the way. Excellent for standup paddling!

4 man made lagoons front the resort area of Kapolei. If you like pristine, manicured grass leading up to clean sand, you will love this area. Ideal for families with young children, or those timid of the beach and waves, as there aren't any here. Just gentle lapping at the shoreline. You can snorkel and find a variety of fish,... More

Clean and safe, toilet and shower facilities with parking. You can hire snorkeling gear but not many fish get through, beautiful sunsets
