Ko Olina Beach Villas

This is the best place to stay with young children. There are protected lagoons that they can swim in and play without fear of currents.

A great opportunity to enjoy the beach without concern for weak swimmers. Lagoons are protected from the surf and allow entry into the water without fear of large waves. A wonderful place.

Clean water and beach. Flat water, no dangerous waves. Protected by fishnet. No dangerous wildlife (but also not much wildlife to see). Some small fish and crabs. Great for families, chilling out, and small children.

The Ko Olina Lagoons are a series of 4 man made "large" lagoons that appear to be used largely by the guys of the 4 Seasons, Aulani Beach Villa and Marriott resorts adjacent to them. I suspect they are also open to others as well. The water is warm, shallow yet open to the sea through a breakwater allowing in... More

This is a peaceful place to relax on the sand and swim. The barriers on the outer part of the lagoon blocks the waves for the most part. There are a total of 4 lagoons (each within walking distance of each other). Parking is a big challenge at the first three. Lagoon #4 has a large parking lot. Lagoon #1... More

Exceptional beach front - short walk from Aulani. Great for surfing and ocean swimming. Nearby are two lagoons for calm water swimming. We saw several Hawaiian Monk Seals resting on the beach.

The Ko Olina lagoons have the nicest sandy beaches and warm water. Palm trees are everywhere and there is a wonderful walkway all around the lagoons. Each of the lagoons has its own breakwater which keeps the sand in place and also makes for a much more enjoyable swimming experience. Public parking is extremely limited and is usually full by...
