We walked thru the gardens and took the train ride. Enjoyed seeing how the pineapples grow and some of the beautiful flowers. The gift shop was quite nice. You don't really need a long stop here. It was drizzling when we were there so maybe that made it less than optimum.

An awesome way to explore the inner island of Oahu. You get to see fields and fields of pineapples as far as the eye can see, from mountain to mountain. It's a great experience. A lot of fun and great food. A paradise for any plant or pineapple lover. I highly recommend this if you are going to the island... More

We did the walk though the garden and train ride. It was all very touristy and the lines were a bit long but now we can say we have been there. Haha. The Dole whip is quite good but very overpriced, as were all the items in the "convenience" store. However it was still interesting to walk through and see... More

Wish we'd taken more time to explore the plantation. We got there late and were only able to see the gift shop, which was amazing and the surrounding grounds. It would have been nice to have gotten there earlier to actually see the plantation and the fruit fields. There were these amazing trees called Rainbow eucalyptus and the pineapple plants... More

Loved visiting the plantation. Definitely nice to browse the gift shop, but it was a tourist-trap with all the usual suspects (chocolate, jewellery and expensive pineapple stuffs). The landscape was interesting, and quite a difference compared to Waikiki where I stayed. I would definitely go back especially as the drive up was spectacular!

Went there with my family and the kids loved the maze. It kept them busy and entertained for an hour while looking for the different stations to fill in their cards. Always a must stop for Dole Whip. Also, go early if you're looking for parking - it fills up fast.

This was a great way to end our day. Dole whip. Pretty touristy but still fun nevertheless if you like all things pineapple.

Immediately trying to sell you stuff upon arrival. Just continued on. Went ahead and rode the Pineapple Express 20 minute train since we were there for about $10. Huge gift shop and overpriced food. Nothing really to see though, narrator volume too low with train noise. Really didn't see any pineapples, maybe wrong time or picked already :-).

Now I will preface this review by saying we went here as part of a tour. That means we had 30 minutes here. Not really a good chance to see the place. It just seemed kind of gimmicky. Everything you could possibly want if you you like pineapples. The gift shop is huge! We has the Dole dessert which we... More

This place is free. It does cost to ride the train, don't waste your time. There's not much to see. The garden also cost to enter. It was interesting to see pineapple plants. I wasn't sure how pineapples grew. The pineapple desserts are wonderful. They are pricey for what you get, but very good. My husband and I shared one.... More
