We spent an enjoyable few hours at this tourist destination. You must get the Dole Whip. It's delicious. There is a cute train ride around the property and an inexpensive lunch shop on site. Kids liked the pineapple maze and henna stand.

We enjoyed seeing how the pineapples grow and all the varieties. They have everything you need to know which ones are the best and how to cut and serve. They will ship home for you too. The gift shop has a big variety of Hawaiian items as well as nuts and candy. Everything pineapple is here.

The Dole Plantation really is the absolute in tourist trap. The main building is one giant store. There is a train you can take ($) or a pinapple garden maze you can go through ($). The one good thing is: they sell Dole whip. To me, Dole whip is one of my favorite things on the planet so it was... More

Stopped here on two of our tours, it was a pineapple paradise. So much good tasty and souvenirs to buy here featuring do,e and or pineapples. Actual pineapple bushes all over the place, coffee food gifts, nice stop.

While this is a beautifully manicured site, it's not that impressive. It's very touristy. The best thing going for this place is their famous pineapple whip, well worth the $6.50. Other than that, I wouldn't bother.

This is a tourist stop, near the North Shore on Oahu. The lure of the train pulled us in, so had we not been "TRAIN NUTS" we may not have gone. You name it, if it can be adapted by a pineapple, they have it, including a pineapple food prep demonstration. We shipped a couple Pineapples to Wilmington, NC &... More

Stopped to pick up some Hawaiian souvenirs. Didn't see the pineapple fields/grounds. Cute selection of purses/kitchen gifts/candy/food items and some jewelry. Stopped as part of a tour, I wouldn't have made a special trip here.

We enjoyed stopping here with our kids, but probably wouldn't stop here again on our next trip. We tried the train ride and maze. The train ride became one long advertisement and the maze wasn't well maintained. The dole whip was great, though!

We stopped and walked around, rode the train, and went through the shop. After all the true beauty on the Island it just felt so plastic.

Guessed we must stop here but only pineapples in sight were in the gift shop as it is not growing season and only saw plants and a lot of ploughed fields. Not even a plastic one or photo to show people they grow above ground on a plant. Dole whip is overpriced and cheaper at DFS Galleria at the bottom... More
