Boogie boarding!

Watch for jellyfish... otherwise best boogie boarding!!! Beautiful location! Lots of beach, never too crowded. Cabins for staying the night are amazing and perfect location!

We were able to go onto Bellows Beach because our son is an army officer, but it is open to the public on the weekend. It had the best sand we found on the island and there was hardly anyone there. Loved it!

I went on the military side of Bellows. It was secluded, quiet, clean, and good clear water. Great place to boogey board or just relax. It is on the eastern side of the island so it isn't a great place for sunsets, but it was definitely my favorite beach that I went to.

I lived on Oahu for 2 years so have been to just about every beach on the island. I have also traveled the Caribbean extensively and all of the Hawaiian islands, and in all of my travels I have never been able to find a beach I loved as much as this one. The sand is so fine and the... More

I've been to five of the Hawaiian Islands, and this is the prettiest Beach I have seen there. Right on Oahu!

The sites from this beach are astounding. Everywhere you gaze presents a new and wonderful experience. The beach is exceptionally clean and it is not congested. Patrons are very kind and the overall mood is very relaxing.

Hidden on a remote Air Force Station, this beach is pristine. Yes, you need a DoD ID for access. There are cabins to rent and a small BX for provisions. I did not stay in a cabin, just stopped by to see the view. Camping is also allowed. Definitely an awesome place to escape from the hustle of Waikiki.

This beach was recommended to me by a fellow military spouse as one of the best kept secrets in Hawaii. She wasn't kidding, this beach is gorgeous. It is definitely worth a visit. We went on a weekend day in the summer and found that it wasn't too crowded at all. Bellows Air Force Station is its own little oasis!... More

If you have the option to stay at Bellows AFB, TAKE IT!! Not only is it one of the most affordable places on the island, its also one of the most practical. Most hotels will run you $100- up a night. This dose not include parking fees and resort fees, both of which can cost you 2 times more than... More

Beautiful day at the beach! Sand was clean surf was beautiful turquoise color! Covered patio with picnic tables. Showers to rinse off the sand worked well. Must be with AF member to enter.
