Royal Kunia is a popular course in the Honolulu area. It's a middle of the road course with no frills or fancy club house. The condition of the course was well maintained. The course is very playable. It doesn't offer the scenery and beauty of the other ocean more expensive ocean courses. I prefer Waikele for a little more money.

I play this course several times a year. It is always in good condition. Pace of play can be slow, especially if you find your self behind the frequent tour groups. No marshall to assist speed of play so lay back and enjoy a day on the course. Ample parking. Food is good although a small restaurant

Very scenic course with great views of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. Golf facilities are average at best. Gas golf carts that have seen much better days!

Our Hawaiian friend recommended this course because of the nice scenery and it allowed a 5-some group. While he paid a Kamaʻāina rate of $40, the green fee for out of state golfers was $150 per person. The scenery at several holes (e.g. #1) was indeed beautiful and calming, some because of the higher elevation. On the other hand, the... More

It's a great place to sit down and enjoy the morning breeze. I went with 4 of my friends for breakfast. We preferered to sit outside to view the golf course. Service was excellent! Our Service is a young lady who is very attentive. The breakfast menu is so diverse. I ordered the typical French toast bread and Arabiki sausage... More

Royal Kunia offers some unique challenging layouts, beautiful vistas, and undulating greens. The course is usually dry and well maintained. Bunkers could use additional sand. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pace of play is good.

This is a nice course. We played it based on reviews we'd read. It's a bit pricey considering what locals pay however the view from the fairways make up for it. The staff was friendly and helpful. It wasn't terribly crowded so not a lot of waiting. The staff paired us with a couple of fellows who play the course... More

Wide fairways, a few water hazards, decent conditions all add up to a fun golfing experience. Away from the bustle and sitting on high ground with beautiful views.

This golf course is tucked away in a planned community / residential area of Kunia. Since it is located near the Ewa plains, the view from this course is spectacular with the view of Diamond Head in the distant east and the Waianae mountain range to the west. I found this course easy to play with an occasional water hazard.... More
