Lots of steps up to a small visitor center where you buy your park pass, speak to rangers, pick up maps and detailed hiking information. Small gift shops and rest rooms. This is a hub for the Island Explorer bus.

Nice place to get started on your visit Acadia. It is smaller, but has enough info to get your trip going. The gift shop is on the smaller side, the one at Jordan pond is much larger. If you're looking for something specific to a...More

We stopped at the Hulls cove visitor center to pickup a carriage road bike map and to get a stamp in my passport. The building is a little small for the number of visitors that must pass through here on a daily basis. The staff...More

The rangers are all friendly and helpful. Gift shop is a little limited. We stopped here to get a motorists guide to the Park Loop Rd and information on the Junior Ranger program which I recommend.

I was surprised, this is a relatively small visitor center for the amount of visitation this park gets. It is nicely landscaped and the building isn't visible from the parking lot. You climb an easy series of stone steps to the entrance (drive up is...More

A great spot to get information if you are just getting into town. Get a loop map of the Acadia National Park. Around $4 worth every cent for great info through the park

Be aware there are over 50 steps to climb to get to the visitor’s center and I’m not sure about handicap accessibility. I didn't see any ramps. You can buy the park passes here instead of at the entrance gate. There are no freebies here....More

You want to stop here first for information on the park. There are maps of the hiking trails and everything else that is available at the park. Lots of knowledgeable people work there that you can get the scoop on the best places to walk,...More

Park is open 24 hours a day but has limited access during the winter. The Visitors Center in Hull Cove is open 8:30 to 4:30
