There are only a handful of victorian houses to see at the address mentioned. I did not really find it worth a great deal.

The Painted Ladies (aka the Full House) are pretty self explanatory. At this time the Alamo park is under construction or some minor remodeling, but one can still take advantage of the view. I'd imagine that when the park is not under construction that people gather around and have picnics as this would be the perfect place to do so.

Nice little park in front of the houses. Houses in beautiful colors. San Francisco is definitely a place one should go visit on their bucket list! Food is Excellent! Such a variety of it! I lived in San Francisco years ago and this was one place I made sure to see.

here's another free sight to take advantage of. Cool architecture, iconic photo-ops, nice park to relax in (it was closed when we were there). And the houses around the block are cool too.

Whilst the houses are lovely you will only spend a few minutes here unless you take advantage of the green area up the road (looking down onto the houses). Here you can sit and take in the vista. They are beautifully painted and upkept and make a nice picture but not a lot more to see here. Best to do... More

One of those iconic views that need to be seen as part of a visit to SF, easy to reach by bus, and there is a large park opposite from which to view and photograph the buildings without upsetting the occupants. Won't take long to visit but definitely worth including on any planned visit to the city

You've seen these Painted Ladies everywhere through the years. Postcards, posters, stationary, Movies, commercials, on and on. But if you have a chance to see them in person, now that's the best!

A classic site but work on the park limited the view. A quick visit to these grand old houses is worth it. to admire the great architecture of these unique houses. Its a quick drive from downtown

I will admit, the main reason motivating my visit was the fact I was a Full House fan as a kid, but the houses are beautiful. Do a little research on them before going and you'll find it even more enjoyable when you get there. Lots of history. Don't let any snark guy walking by tell you any different. ;... More
