A must see while in San Francisco!! It is worth a drive across. The bridge truly is majestic. Interesting to learn about the history and the daily upkeep of the bridge. An iconic piece of San Francisco!!

Took my wife, mom and some friends to San Francisco for a convention. We visited Robert Mondavi and Conn Family wineries, Chardonay Golf Course, Pleasant Hill, Fisherman Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Hope to do it again soon.

When we first arrived, it was pretty foggy and hard to see the bridge from any vantage points. As the day cleared it became easier to see. We walked there and back (because we couldn’t find the bike company) but many people have recommended cycling...More

The Golden Gate is SF - you can see it from anywhere (almost) of SF. I started crossing the bridge by car and parked at "Golden Gate Vista Point", right after the bridge ends on the right. Second stop is going up to the left,...More

An amazing icon of San Francisco that was great to see up close. We took the Grays Line open trolley bus across to Sausalito and back and it was like being in a wind tunnel. Knowing the history of how it was built it was...More

Lots of things to do, and history to check out. Saw seals in the water up close and walked the shoreline.

I live in the Bay Area and the Golden Gate Bridge is a daily joy. While walking across is lovely, you should be prepared for the cold and windy weather! I often see people in shorts and tees and I empathically shiver for them. What...More

Fantastic views from the bridge and we got some great photos. I was told the bridge was rocky but it was as smooth as anything. I still love Brooklyn bridge more but you have to visit this iconic place.

We hired bikes and cycled over, the advantage being we were able to stop and take photos of the views of San Francisco. When you get to Sausalito you can have lunch before getting the ferry back but be sure to queue early... More
