I wouldn't plan to stay long if you go to Twin Peaks, but it does offer a very good bird's-eye view of the city.

One of my favourite parts of our trip was the twin peaks!! The views were absolutely incredible. It takes time to get here if you don't have a car, we took the bus which drops you off right at the bottom of the twin peaks...More

Must do! This is how we started our trip to San Francisco and you should too. It was kinda like an introduction to the Bay Area. Excellent views. We went in June, it was quite windy, so we had to take out jackets for the...More

A place everyone should visit when in San Francisco. One has a great 360 degree view of the city from the top. Worth the drive.

Cool winding road with a great view at the top. Many car commercials are filmed racing around the curvy road. It was pretty foggy when we went, so the view was limited, but it was still very scenic

Just make Shute you not come there when foggy. It pretty height to walk there. Need a car or bicycle if you in very good condition

One of the endearing things about San Francisco to me are the fogs which can roll in and in minutes conceal all. This is the place to see it all happen, the high point of San Francisco. The fogs embrace everything with a damp kiss...More

Drive up the small hill and you are going to be rewarded by the fabulous view of San Francisco. There is a small parking lot.

SF is well known for its moody clouds which steal up on you any time of the day. Choose a bright sunny day to get beautiful views of the city! You can take your car almost all the way up, only a 2 minute hike...More

I would definitely drive, its way out of the town. Well worth the effort though. I actually got my bearings of the city from there. Every time I was in the city after that I thought of standing on the hill pictured the city... More

You can also take the 37 bus and get off at the end of the line. From there it is a short walk up a natural trail cut through the grass to the peak. Its a bit of a walk. I would recommend possibly taking a taxi/uber up... More
