One of the great private clubs of the world. Rooms are very spacious- king beds and sitting area- and very comfortable. Quiet, discrete and elegant, but obviously part of it's charm is that it is very old-fashioned, in the nicest possible way. Car park in...More

As a woman, I admit, I was a little put off that I could go not go everywhere in this gentlemen's club with my husband, but it is a gentlemen's club. The building is absolutely lovely and full of old world charm. It was built...More

Fantastic location on Nob Hill. Cable car outside, anything you could want to do in easy reach. And privacy. And impeccable service. And silence at breakfast. Just the way staying away from home should be. Gymnasium and pool terrific. You need to be a member,...More

This is the quintessential gentlemen's club. We stayed there as the guest of a member. The building is the house of one of the "big four" San Francisco barons and it is the only one that survived the 1906 quake more or less intact. It...More

Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the
city and is home to amazing architecture and views.
The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for
those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
