At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is a series of stunning views at every turn in this wild and windy trail. Hillsides of cypress and wildflowers, views of shipwrecks and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, a San Francisco specials memory.

great spot at the ocean. beautiful views, trails available. and its free! Very close to San Francisco...short drive. And you can spend at minimum a half hour, if you want to spend time at the beach or do trails you could stay half a day.

We went here on our viator tour of the city and we really enjoyed the stop. We walked down the steps and to the right for some amazing views of the rugged coast. It was very pretty here and we would definitely recommend seeing this...More

A must do if you're spending more than a couple days in San Francisco, though make sure you set aside at least half a day as you'll want to stop and take lots of pictures!

Lands End was the highlight of my trip to San Francisco. Not only were there beautiful views there was also hiking trails and so much history. The ruins of the Sutro Baths and the old photos of when they were actually in use was so...More

This is a great place for iconic photographs of classically beautiful California vistas. If there is no fog there are great shots of the Golden Gate Bridge. Be prepared it can be a bit rugged with lots of ups and down, and climbing, but not...More

Nice hike. Lots of steps. Consider the personality of a young child before taking them there. They'd enjoy the hike but once out there, the drop off is quite high and there is no safety rail. Kids will enjoy the labyrinth. we saw seals when...More

My husband and I came here after having lunch at the Cliff House. Amazing views but very cold. Do the hike to see the golden gate. Wear sneakers and bring water and snacks.

If I knew there are pretty good hiking trails, I would have been better prepared. The trails have fewer people as you walk on. The labyrinth is my favourite spot. I love the sea and how the horizon looks like the world dropped off at...More

Enjoyed seeing the sweeping views of the pacific while doing a moderate hike. As other reviewers mentioned it's probably have seen better days. There's graffiti and garbage but if you look past that it's very pretty. There's rocky pebbly beaches so it's not necessary a...More
