Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rental and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids' bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and are open at 8am every day. For those that want something more, we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary.

My butt hurts from cycling, but that's what you get when you have a tour over 3 hours. Our guide Jeremiah or Jmoney was great. He knew a lot about the places we went. The bridge was a tough one because of the wind, but...More

On a beautiful winter’s day, we hired the bikes & rode from Pier 41, over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. It was a great way to spend a few hours. The rates were fine too: $9/hr or $36/ 24hrs. All costs were reconciled when...More

How early you start out depends on how long you want to ride. We started at 9 AM, downtown, and rode through Haight-Ashbury, Golden Gate Park and Oceanpoint before heading across the bridge. It took us five hours... but... More

Hi, We will be staying 3 nights in San Fran from 1st January 2017. Just wondering what the weather would be like riding around on the 1st or 3rd January?! Will it be too cold to ride around?! As we wanted to visit Sausalito, there were lots of review to bike on route along the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. We can hang around the area for a few hours before heading back via ferry to San Fran. How long will it take for us to ride from the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito? On your website, it also mentions that we don't need to book as there are plenty of bikes for hire. Is this correct? That way we can suss out how we are feeling after a very long flight. This will be our very 1st trip to the US and also renting out a bike if needed. Looking forward to it all. Thanks in advance for answering my question.
