A blustery January walk from beginning to end, Crissy Field is an urban renewal success story. Crissy Field was transformed from a former military airfield into a series of dog-friendly beaches, salt ponds, nature walks and city and island views. Dress warmly in layers in the chillier months - which is most of the time in San Francisco. There is... More

This is truly the happiest place on earth. With awesome views of the Golden Gate Bridge, a sandy, dog friendly beach, great bike and walking path and a nice cafe and book store. Whether you are 5 or 105, you can enjoy the wonderful views and ocean breezes of the San Francisco Bay and a peaceful walk or bike ride.

Crissy Field is a park located close to the Golden Gate Bridge. This is a must place to see the bridge, since you are almost directly under it! I would recommend stopping by the Warming Hut for a coffee or a bite to eat. Great place to walk a dog (or even a kid!). Take a jacket, it gets a... More

A beautiful way to see SF from the ground.....the bay, the GG bridge, the people. A spectacular walk from the yacht club to Ft. Point. Stop at the Warming Hut to get coffee, rest, relax and journey on.

There is nothing like a long walk along the beach toward the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge! It is such a unique view of San Francisco. It's not only the sights -- magnificent -- but also the steady stream of people and dogs of all ages. It was pretty windy yesterday so take a wind breaker no matter what the reported... More

Crissy Field is one of my favorite parts of San Francisco. It's a great place to spend some time on its own, walking, running, riding a bike, flying a kite, etc. But on top of that, there are spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the hills up in Marin. It's also home to several awesome businesses, including Planet... More
