A complete climbing gym with reasonable prices

Came here to climb and wasn't disappointed. Tons of routes clearly labeled, good rental equipment, and friendly staff. I'd come back here on my next visit.

The place is huge and equipped with all sorts of paths for different levels. I found the paths very interesting and the staff super helpful. We bought there climbing shoes and the guy let us in for free, as a gift. That's nice! Definitely I will go there again.

We took the intro to climbing class and loved it. Our instructor Noah was super patient and a great instructor. We had a blast and would highly recommend.

The place opens daily from early hours. Includes a gym, lots of space. Walls are very well maintained and marked properly. Parking may be an issue at certain times. Bring your own gear, otherwise you can rent.

Whether you are visiting San Francisco, or live in or near the city, and you are looking for a climbing club, go to Mission Cliffs. We live here now, but moved from Colorado last year. Our family was looking for a place that came close to what we had in the Rocky Mountain state. This place was perfect! Great facility;... More

I hope this was just my experience, but twice while there the staff were gratuitously rude to me, enough that it gave the feeling that it comes from up above. I'm not a member, just bought a day pass with some friends, trying to decide if I'll become a member in a bay area gym company -- I'm not local... More

Top rope or lead at the oldest gym in the city! Almost remodeld to add lots of great routes. Yoga and spinning are just a few of the fitness options. Relax in the sauna or lift some weights. Love this gym and enjoy going out for burritos afther climbing

We took our granddaughter since she is such a climber. We are in our 50's but enjoyed it as well. It's more of a place for 20 and 30 somethings but hey we had a great time and so did she. We took the lesson for the extra $10. Well worth it.

Ok, I don't climb, but my adult children do. This place looks awesome. I loved the location, I loved what went on in there too. The other climbing place we went to had a crumbled rubber floor, it was everywhere! The little kids shoes were filled with it and we found it all over at home. The floor here is... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
