The structure inside really worth the view. The orge is stunning and this art stuff in the center is great!

Very notable example of modern ecclesiastical architecture, worth a look. Easy to get to on the bus, although takes a while from downtown. Fine organ.

One of the most grandiose modern churches we have seen (while not as intriguing or culturally meaningful as a sagrada familia, it has an amazing size and position) the spacious environment, organ and plays of light inspires awe, if not intimate prayer.

I wouldn't recommend going in there, but it is awesome standing outside looking at an only in San Francisco place.

This church has a large parking lot which is such an advantage in San Francisco instead of trying to find street parking. Inside the Cathedral is breath taking with design, immense chandelier, and magnificent modern organ. Service and Mass was beautiful.

Amazing house of prayer, dub "Our Lady Of Maytag" By Herb Coen for it's design. But it's a beautiful big church with big open spaces for prayer. I find that a service here can feel in personal because of it's size, but come to pray...More

This hideous building looks like the inside of a washing machine. It's really ugly, one of San Francisco's least loved buildings. And it sits on a cold wind-swept open square. Avoid it.

The exterior is certainly imposing, but for some reason it didn't really draw us in. It doesn't seem very inviting from the outside. My husband and I just happened to be walking by, trying to kill time, when we decided to go inside. The inside...More
