Marvelous ambience. Incredible selection of craft beers. Step out to the sausage shop next door for a “carry in” meal.

I think this was my favorite bar that we hit in San Francisco. Super laid back, interesting crowd, terrific beer selection. We stopped here after a brew tour and ended up here the majority of the night. It was fairly crowded with people watching the...More

This is a destination bar that attracts tourist, beer lovers and locals. Kind of a dive bar with people of all walks of life. It gets crowded, but know there's more seating in the back. You come here for beer and nothing else. The selection...More

Amazing selection of beers (but not really anything else to drink) if you love beer, you'll love Toronado. However, we received very average service both behind the bar and from the bouncer. There's a great vibe but it can get very noisy so it's not...More

Nice bar, great choice of beers. Knowledgeable barman (Stu) Only advice don't drive you'd miss too many great beers.

They have Pliny on tap. If that isn't enough, nothing else I say would really matter. Great location, fair prices, shady clientele and Pliny on tap.

The beer list is absolutely amazing, and at really reasonable prices. We didn't have an issue with bad service, but the bathrooms smelled worse than a latrine in the hot summer. Defiantly worth it for the beer if you don't need to use the bathroom.

Staff are unbelievably rude. It's obviously a little thing they have going on and I think they like the 1 star reviews they get because of this. It didn't annoy me, it's quite laughable in all honesty. Beer is amazing, great menu even though there...More

How to not be treated rudely at Toronado. 1. Don't be a jerk 2. Know what you want to order before you talk to the bartender 3. Pay with cash 4. Tip This is pretty much how you should conduct yourself every time you visit...More

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
