The Warfield is noble looking theater with a rich history. The exterior of the venue is kind of unassuming, but the interior had a touch of class about it. The interior had high ceilings, regal drapery and gold embellishments. It’s a 2300 seater originally built in the 1920s. Promoter Bill Graham converted the venue into a concert hall in the... More

We went for a hard rock concert at the Warfield, the queue one hour before start was huge, but the crowd was polite and friendly. security checked the people on age to hand out the wrist bands to proof you are allowed to drink Alcohol (weird thing for us ). after walking to the X-ray the building is old and... The sound was amazing. Stage was well layed out. The security staff was beyond good. Very helpful and made it easy for my disabled wife to get through security check point without feeling violated. The ADA seating does have a little to be desired however. Very difficult to see from a wheelchair over everyones heads. The staff was great but... More

Attended a concert at the Warfield on a recent trip to SF. The theater is typical vintage venue The building is old and run down...but we loved the opportunity to see and experience Warfield. Parking was a challenge and it's not in a great area of town. Expect to be panhandled to and from the theater. Keep in mind it's... More

Aww man- some of the greatest acts in rock music have played there even though it's kind of a dump. But that's rock and rim.

Went to see the Moscow Ballet perform The Nutcracker...nice theater, plenty of parking nearby...served alcohol, though way overpriced. I purchased seats in the orchestra section, row B, and paid $125.00 a seat...only problem is that you are seated on the floor, with the stage above you, and you could not see the dancers from the ankles down...which when you watch... Cool place to see very cool dudes. A smallish theatre offering an intimate experience. Good acoustics, and a cool vibe. Highly recommended

We went to see the Monkees. It was a great show. You can have drinks if you want. The lighting was very good. Would see a show there again.

Arrived to the Thrice concert on Sept 15th. The outside is a little sketchy with plenty of homeless sleeping on the street. They did not bother anyone and minded their own business. I have a service dog, and when I came in they demanded paperwork. Nietzsche has been working since she was 2 and is now 11. She is licensed... More

Venue is great. Comfortable seats. Not too big. Adequate sound system. Don't know if the sound system was Warfield's or Perfume's. Entry quick. Ushers efficient and friendly. Area surround the theatre needs work by SF (and the country as a whole). At least provide sanitary facilties for people so that they can do their thing.
