Came here during GDC and had dinner. The service was decent but my stroganoff came out overcooked. It was ok but could have been a lot better. The bar however was pretty cool and the bartender that was working was great. She was fun and did a great job.

I loved the live jazz music while eating in a nice private booth. This is a historic building in San Francisco and bar and restaurant have a cool, throwback groove that is great for dates and business dinners. Service is very good, steak/fish are a must do and the appetizers are well done. Craft cocktails and bourbon selection are also... More

We were a large business table (hosting customers) and looking to impress. The service was very friendly and doing their best to please, but it was slooooooowwwwwwww. It took two hours from the moment we ordered to get the main courses which were not prepared as requested. Again service was friendly and doing its best to fix, but even the... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Charlie Palmer's Burritt Room + Tavern. We began by being seated in a curtain covered booth which was private and very enjoyable. Our waiter was fantastic. He was very polite, and was patient with us as we tried to pick from a wonderful selection of foods. After being undecided on... More

Such an interesting menu with great plates to share. The live music at the bar adds a festive feel. Pricey but really good.

Here’s the email I sent to Burritt Room & Tavern: We dined and entertained 6 out of town guests this past Friday night 12/2/16 at your restaurant. We were quite excited after reading Yelp review and then the Charlie Palmer management team and the well-trained chef on your website. We were promptly seated and enjoyed very creative cocktails, though they... More

In the Mystic Hotel, this bar is from a bygone era and there service is top notch. The decor is old chandeliers, various mirrors, carpets and red velvet drapes. We just had signature special cocktails, but the food looked good too. Not far from Union Square so it was a great stop after shopping.

Hidden in a hotel off the main area of San Francisco's Union Square, this restaurant bar on the second floor of the Mystic Hotel has a nice cocktail menu and a very tasty dinner menu. Jazz trio played on a Saturday night added to the atmosphere. One of the Charlie Palmer restaurants and a nice find.

Went here on a Sunday night. We're immediately informed it was not a normal business night and they would have a "pop up dinner" with a special menu. Menu was creative, and small, but had something for everyone. Sommelier was also the beer guy, which was perfect as my wife loves wine and I love beer. Very knowledgeable and didn't... More
