What an amazing trip!! Chris was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly well in tune with the local market community and special gems around the corners. Definitely try this - just bring your walking shoes and your appetite.

I have been on many food tour in many different cities. This is by far the best one I have have been on! Yes, it is a little more expensive, but well worth it! Our tour lasted almost 4.5 hours! Most food tours give you a bit of this or one piece of sushi or take you to a spice... More

Our family found this tour extraordinary. This was a four and a half hour tour with Chris. He was energetic, extremely knowledgeable about the mission area and had remarkably bonded relationships with the local merchants. Not only was this a food tour with lots of food experiences it was an immersion in the local culture of the district. Make sure... More

He infused the tour with entertaining and edifying observations and of course the food was great. It really was like following a friendlier Anthony Bourdain through small food stores exploring and discussing what they made, how the made... More

Chris was the best guide and host for a wonderful 4 hour tour of mission district. We learned about local food, neighborhood history, establishments with 30, 40 50 years of history, and had great food and fun on the way. Highly recommended!!!

If you want to have a REALLY cool time exploring some totally out-of-the-way eateries in China town and North Beach - do a Foodie Adventure. Chris is an AMAZING host, hugely engaging with the crowd (this is great for team-building or for parties). He provides insights about the cuisine, the local culture, and historical facts about how the neighborhoods are... More

What an amazing way to spend the day in San Francisco, learn about history and culture of the neighborhoods, while eating delicious food along the way. Chris is super friendly, fun and knowledgeable - and he knows where the best spots for food! Accommodates vegetarians, pescetarians, or other dietary restrictions. Tour is at a relaxed pace - with a mixture... More
