On Saturday April 22nd, on our 72 hour package, we were fortunate to be on the bus with our driver, Steve and guide, Blake. They were awesome! Kudos to both of them for making it not only informative but also entertaining.

One of the problems with a number rating system is that it cannot convey the true essence of this mixed experience. The Big Bus Tour is indeed a tale of two busses. One bus has a live guide. With our guides, Connor, Jacob, and Bobby (the driver), it was a 5-star experience. The other bus has a recorded tour that... More

Did two bus tours while in SF to see the city. Just know that the Big Bus Tour actually goes across the Golden Gate Bridge and then you can purchase a trolley ticket to see Sausalito. The seats are a little uncomfortable nothing a sweater cant fix. The tour is narrated by head phones on a pre recorded set, but... More

My son and I took this tour last week. Frank, our tour guide, was very informative and did a good job or narrating the sites on the tour. My only complaint was he was very rude to people when they asked questions. He also made snide comments about passengers under his breath. Maybe Frank should look for a different line... More

Plenty of regular buses unlike some of the other operators. The staff are good and they have free headphones and rain poncho's. The audio commentary is very good and the live commentary was superb too. The night tour was good although you only stop off once for a quick photo shoot. Peter our guide was excellent, he spoke almost non... More

We had several drivers which were all friendly and safe drivers. We got to see everything of importance in San Francisco. Such an easy, stress free way to see the city and get to where you want to go. We had one tour guide in particular who was amazing and due to my bad memory I can't for the life... More

We had a great guide and a good driver and I had a feeling they were probably all like that! Just enjoy the sights because its really difficult taking photos on a moving bus and there is rarely an opportunity to stop in this busy city. A few routes to choose from so they have SF pretty much covered. Recommended.

This was the first time we had been on a bus tour like this with a live guide - and it was brilliant. So much more entertaining and engaging than the pre recorded voice I was used to. Blake was our guide for our daytime tour and again for our night tour and was absolutely hilarious. The drivers Lawrence and... More
