It's up on the hillside so a bit out of the way for the average tourist. But this is a San Fran gem, a gorgeous park and you get great views of downtown and the Bay.

It's pretty cool up there, but you gotta dodge the junkies and homeless but it can be worth the drama sometimes.

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
