This tour was excellent all around. The Emperor truly knows his history and is a great guy as well. We learned the intimate details of San Francisco's past.

A wealth of information both Historical & present about the City, its people & places, and such a personable man , delighted he is Emperor. Our present Government officials would do well to emulate him in their actions and attitudes. The tour was a wonderful...More

Emperor Norton's Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine was our final activity during our three-day trip to San Francisco. I wish we had done it first, because he recommended several things that we would have liked to have visited later on our own. The Emperor is...More

Emperor Norton's tour was a ton of fun and very educational for our whole family. We learned more, laughed more and experienced more in this 2+ hour walking tour then we did on any of the bus tours. Fantastic!

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
