The GLAD TIDINGS Church that I see is a Church that impacts San Francisco...

The GLAD TIDINGS Church that I see is a Church that impacts San Francisco with the message that GOD loves everyone no matter what. I see a Church where worship is so real and honest that it honors GOD and changes people who are a part of it. And that impacts each level and segment of our city: Black, White, Asian, Latin, rich, poor, young, old, educated and uneducated. I see a church that refuses to splinter off into common comfort zones, and strives to live beyond itself building a place that will look like heaven. I see a Church that is filled with people hungry to connect with this awesome GOD in a valid, honest way. The Church that I see has a message so clear that everyone understands that our shared purpose is to love GOD and make HIS love known. I see a church so focused that it refuses to be self-absorbed, rejects the lie that money is our goal, and is passionate about helping others. I see a Church so genuine, outward facing, and compassionate that it reaches out in the face of misunderstanding and overturns the judgments many San Franciscans have made against all churches because some churches have failed. The Church that I see is committed to raising, training and empowering a group of leaders who will look beyond their own needs and carry the GLAD TIDINGS of GOD's LOVE to hurting, lonely, disenfranchised people. THIS IS our quest. This is the dream at GT. This is our direction, and with GOD's help we will become this church.

Being new to SF, spent some time looking for a church to be a part of. When I first came here, I noticed that people were very friendly, there was a lot of diversity, and people were serious about being real with Jesus. That was many years ago and still attending. The church is continuing to grow and filled with... More

This church is on fire! I never been to a church that worship with authenticity. God brought me in this church where I have seen Him work in me more, experiencing genuine love, belongingness, peace, answered prayers, and comfort through the Holy Spirit. I love this church, I want to keep coming back!

If you're looking for a great assemblies of God church in SF, or any great church this would be it. This is a multi-cultural environment with both young and old where I was welcomed warmly from day 1. There are many groups to be a part of throughout the week. Great childcare and thriving youth groups. Highly recommend this church... More

I like the fact that this church is open to all. What I don't like is that communion is NOT offered on Sunday. As a believer, I think that this is a huge loss.

Being at this church has definitely shaped me into being a more faithful believer and an active believer. I have been attending since July of 2009, and nearly 3 years later, I am so glad to be here. I am challenged to grow, I am encouraged and I am supported. There are so many ways to gte involved, you cannot... More
