I loved visiting these steps and admiring the beautiful different designs. It can get quite crowded, so you may have to wait a bit if you want a good picture without so many bystanders in the back. Definitely worth checking out once!

I live just one hour south from San Francisco and found about this place in Facebook! Just go there, very pretty. Don't stop on the top of the mosaic stairs, cross the street and go up a little bit more, the view of San Francisco from the hill is beautiful!

You just can't help thinking about Barcelona when you look at these steps. Go upstairs, till the top, and you'll be awarded with beautiful vistas. There are warning signs on the street about burglars that will break your car windows just to steal what's left inside. It didn't happened to me, but if possible, avoid leaving items on your car.

There is not a San Francisconian alive who hasn't been to these steps and reflected on their mortality. A must see.

How cool is it that there are about 50 of these tiled steps around San Francisco? Pretty darned cool, if I do say so myself! These are among our favorites, because the steps are awesome AND they’re flanked by beautiful gardens. What’s not to like?!

It was worth every step. It is amazing how beautiful the mosaic was done and the scenic view was outstanding. I am so glad I saw it. The view of the city gets better as you go all the way to the top. Once your up there there are two bench where you can sit and enjoy the view.

Beautiful and long stretch of mosaic tiled steps. We walked up to the top - took maybe 10 mins since we kept stopping to take pictures. It's a quick place to stop and sometimes you have to wait for people to go by to get the picture you want - but it was fun to see! There are also really... More

If you are around the area its worth a look see or even a hike up to the top! I do not recommend it on a rainy day....
