We joined the long queue at Powell turnaround station at 5pm. We observed the queues were much longer in the morning. The queue moved fast and we waited about 30mins in line. The conductor at the back of the cable car was friendly and allowed...More

Don;'t' forget to get a ride on a vintage cable car. Very interesting to see how well the actual cable car is maintained and driven. Don't miss part of this cultural experience.

Kids loved the experience of holding on to the outside of the trolley. It took a good 40 mins to wait in line. No discounts for kids. Riding uber it lyft would be cheaper as a family.

A job that needs 2 but the work so well together to execute the turn flawlessly. Only lasts for a couple of minutes and our will see it happen a couple of times whilst waiting to get on the tram

Hmmm - we had purchased the San Fran "City Pass" that included unlimited riding on cable cars & the Muni Buses. It's a lot cheaper if you're going to be in town for 3-7 days! To just ride it one time, it's $7 a person per... More
