Noisy homeless people kept us awake almost all night. There are double-paned windows but they do not fit in the space well...there are gaps. You can hear all street noise clearly. Very dodgy neighborhood. My son was offered drugs on his way to the car....More

For the price we have payed for this B & B, we would have expected cleaner rooms. No matter what the owner's story in the 60s and 70s was, she is responsible for a clean bathroom and bed as well as a good breakfast. Both...More

Stayed here 3 times because they make you feel like family. It's a theme hotel based on the 60s Hippie movement in S.F. and(if you're old enough) it's like going back to a better time. If you get to meet Sami Sunchild(owner) and learn her...More

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
