Great place to take the family as it's a very interesting and informative walk! It's right in the middle of town, so it's close to all the other attractions.

We really enjoyed the tour. Has a few historical building plus the last home of Andrew Johnson. First place was self #waguided. The last home of Johnson was with a tour guide that was wonderful. Would recommend this to anyone.

Great movie and museum around a often misunderstood president. Cool that you can see multiple sights around the area that are from his life. Worth a visit.

I would check out the visitor center. The exhibits are informative and Pres. Johnson's tailor shop is in there. Also, the view from Pres. Johnson's grave is worth the short drive over there.

The website mentions a Christmas closure, but I don't see a New Year's one mentioned. You might want to try calling them sometime this week or next so you don't drive over there just to be disappointed.
