We're very lucky to know Beverly as a good friend. His ancestors were involved with this mansion at the beginning and Beverly is an expert at the history. He gives a wonderful tour and it's very worthwhile to visit

I had an excellent guide who led my tour through this historic home. General John Hunt Morgan of Civil War fame spent the last night of his life in this home.

We enjoyed touring this mansion and learning about the family for whom it was built. It was right across the parking lot from the General Morgan Inn (historic hotel where we stayed), and the tour begins at the Inn.

You will be treated to a wonderful tour by folks who have extensive local history in their blood. You will see plenty of exhibits that have been especially collected for this mansion. It's lovely and well worth a visit.
