When exiting the Visitors Center is spits you out right on to Arsenal Square. There is nothing much there save the foundation of the building. The whole area seems to be used for events and booths (there was a children's activity tent off to one...More

The foundation is not much to see and the information is short. A tour guide will enhance the experience, or read up before visiting to really enjoy the experience!

The site of the old arsenal. Not much except the walls now, and more important (as one of the very few arsenals at that time) than seeing the old rocks would ever suggest.

there is a plaque beside the remains to tell the story and show the site. not much to see, but sometimes it's the history that is important not the visual thing. we were there in the evening so there wasn't anything going on. still, if...More
