We spent a wonderful sunny afternoon here. The trails are well prepared and easy to follow although quite demanding physically. Fantastic views of the confluence of the two mighty rivers. Our biggest regret was that we did not have more time in our itinerary to...More

Located at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers, all of Harpers Ferry spreads out behind you. Also along the Appalachian Trail, soo in good weather there are always people here.

The view was amazing! It makes your mind think as to all the history that happened there and the life people lived back years ago.

Put this on your bucket list. The meeting of the Potomac and Shenadoah Rivers may not equal the Grand Canyon, but it sure is beautiful and impressive, especially as you look up at the rock cliffs over the CSX Railroad tunnel.

The world seems to be split apart in front of your eyes as you watch the Shenandoah River meet the Potomac. The railroads, Civil War and industrial history, and natural splendor all seen from this this point are magnficent.

Great place to view the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, especially in mid-October when the leaves are starting to change colors. Kind of a "must-see/do" if you're in Harpers Ferry.

The keystone spot of a great city and area. A natural panorama of rock, mountain, rapids, active railway, bird migration, and rivers.
