We had two older dogs on our trip to Moab. They were dog tired after days of hiking and biking. We needed to find an activity that would let them rest. We tried this moderate 4x4 trail. There are really old mines visible on the Kane Creek side (bring binoculars if you are into that sort of thing) and the... More

Not our first time here. Went over the pass to Chicken Corners where the road gets a little more difficult. Great scenery and lots of small vehicles creating dust storms. We went out early and didn't have a lot of traffic. Lots of good looking camp sits along this road. There is a protected rock with a lot of good... More

The views are great and going over the pass is fun. This road would be good for beginner 4x4 folks. It's a long road with part of it just being a dust road. Very dry and dusty. At the end is chicken corners which will cause anyone with a brain in their head stress! We had nervous people (me included)... More

Just incredible views, not a difficult trail at all. You can extend your trip by continuing on to Catacomb rock and chicken corners.

Fun trail for everyone. Accessible by truck, Jeep, ATV, UTV, etc (pretty much any basic off-road capable vehicle). Great views of the Colorado River, a balanced rock, and lots of mesas. If you continue on to the Chicken Corners trail (aka Chicken Corner) you'll see even more including some cool caves.

This was a beautiful trip -- and we began a new hobby on the top of Hurrah Pass -- found our first geocache here! Don't know that I'd want to do this in something much larger than our side-by-side, but lots of people do! Beautiful views all around and we definitely will be back!

An amazing trip you can make in a regular SUV-could also do it in a car, but the road does get rough. It features OMG steep curves and gorgeous scenery. There are nice places to camp and access to several 4wd trails along here as well.

Great trail which can be partially done in a 4X4 but the best parts are on the back side in an ATV. Would highly recommend. Easy trail for ATV's. Good picnic areas.

Traveled in a stock Land Cruiser. The road to Hurrah Pass was graded well. We drove on toward Chicken Corners about 2 miles past Catacomb Rock before turning around and returning due to time restraints -- we spent too much time playing at Catacomb Rock. The road beyond the pass is rougher, but none where spotting was required. There were... More
