Rock Climbing & Canyoneering Adventures for beginners and experienced...

Rock Climbing & Canyoneering Adventures for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Fun for young children and adults. Most of our adventures require no previous experience to enjoy! Canyoneering uses specialized equipment and techniques, including rappelling, to negotiate wet and dry canyons of varying difficulties. All trips have an important educational component to promote a deeper appreciation for our natural landscape. We are Moab’s oldest and most experienced climbing and canyoneering guide service. Half, full, and multi-day trips. Visit our website for more information on all our rock climbing and canyoneering adventures. Check us out on Facebook to see more photos of our adventures!

We meet at Cliffs and Canyons at 7:15 a.m. for 2 repeals and about a 3-mile hike. The repeals were 120 & 100 ft. It was our first time and we enjoyed the canyoneering and hiking aspect. Cliffs and Canyons scheduled a group which was too large and diverse to fully enjoy our experience. We had to wait for long... More

Went on a rappelling trip to Ephedra's Grotto with staff from Cliffs and Canyon's staff. Arranged through Moab Adventure Center. Very safe and professional staff.

When planning a trip to Moab, I stumbled across pictures of Ancient Art and immediately decided I HAD to do it. I contacted Moab Cliffs and Canyons, and they were very prompt and thorough..very soon I had a trip booked. My guide,Joe Stern has extensive experience climbing and guiding all over the world. My husband, myself and our two teenagers (13& 15) had a great time on this tour. Chris and Heather are not only great guides (responsible and experienced) but Chris took time to really educate us about the history of the area from the geology, to the settlements to the artifacts he's found. The scenery is beautiful and the canyoneering was... More

I went on a multi-day canyoneering trip (North Wash), a single-day canyoneering (Granary), and a tower climb (Ancient Art) with Moab Cliffs and Canyons and enjoyed all of them. North Wash is definitely worthwhile if you have the time. Our guide Joe S. was terrific - made us feel completely safe; he was very patient and knowledgeable on all aspects... More

My wife, son (8yrs) and I had an amazing climb. Our guide was incredibly nice and very informative. I would recommend Cliffs and Canyons to anyone, regardless of climbing ability.

It was just my two girlfriends and I, which was perfect. Only one of us had a good bit of experience rappelling, so my other friend and I were a little nervous for this all day excursion. We were worried for nothing though. I'm not saying the first rappel wasn't really hard for me, it was, but Evan walked me... More

We are a couple in our early fifties who had never gone rappelling and wanted to try it with an experienced company. Tripadvisor reviews and other guides in Moab recommended Moab Cliffs and Canyons. We are thrilled that we chose this tour company. Our guide Chris was really knowledgable and always made us feel safe. The first rappel into the... More

Our guide Joe was fantastic! Very informative and made all the first-timers like me feel comfortable. The hike is beautiful and just difficult enough to make you feel like you earned a beer or two afterward. If you only do one thing in Moab, it should be this tour. It was the highlight of my trip by far.
