We heard about this hike from someone we met hiking in the Grand Staircase a couple of days ago. Head towards Arches from Moab and turn left towards Potash. The trailhead is about 10 miles down the road. There are signs on the highway for...More

The length of this hike was totally doable for our kids; its about 1.5 miles in if I recall. The hike to the arch has a high fun factor and beautiful scenery along the way. The arch itself is huge!

I always enjoy hiking to Corona Arch. It is beautiful and not to difficult. Fun to take something to eat or snack on once you get there.

Corona Arch is big (over 100 feet tall) and relatively easy to hike to. It's a fairly short drive from Moab, and the easy hike is maybe 1 1/2 miles, one-way. The bonus is Bow Tie Arch, which is literally right next to Corona Arch....More

One of our favorite hikes. Don't let the steepness scare you off. There are cables and chains to help you out.

We loved this hike to bow tie and corona arches. Less crowded than the national park. Great to get so close with few others.

I've hiked near Moab on many past trips and finally hiked to Corona Arch (and nearby Bowtie) with my wife and our son earlier this week. It was a really beautiful hike, with superb scenery and a real taste of Utah slickrock country. The first...More

We've been through Arches National Park a couple times. Hiking to Corona Arch (also Bowtie Arch and Pinto Arch) was a fairly easy hike (even with the ladder) without the huge park crowds. The trail is well marked and Corona Arch was larger than I...More

We left Arches Nat'l Park and wanted another reasonable hike before a long drive. Corona Arch was perfect. You get there by ambling along the Colorado River which is interesting and historic in itself. The hike is fairly rigorous but there were families with small...More

We almost didn't go to this stunning arch since it was not in Arches National Park. So glad we took the time for the short hike to see this lovely arch! There are ropes, a climb up a rock face that has small foot holds...More

Yes, it's paved. The trailhead parking lot is dirt, but it's right off the road which is paved. It's a really easy drive from downtown Moab or from Arches NP.
