My family and I went to hike to the falls. We waited until later in the day because we knew there was limited parking and that it is a well-trafficked area. The parking part worked out for us but the hike was a let down....More

A great escape to hike and set your eyes on beautiful sites and views. Not a difficult hike, so for people who haven't regularly gone hiking, this is perfect.

The first challenge is finding parking in this real popular hiking trail. If you are able to park enjoy, relax and do not be in a hurry. This preserve goes to the water. Amazing views.

A favorite spot in the spring, early in the morning when the crowds are still sleeping...wild flowers and birds make the experience peaceful and rejuvenating .... the dogs sniff every inch of the trails...deer and fox are local residents.

Excellent place for hiking, nature loving, picture shots and cardio. There are plenty of trails all identified with different colors. Nice trail map displays on the intersections. Close to residential neighborhood known as safe crime wise. Beautiful streams and adjacent to the great Potomac river....More

As the weather is getting nicer, both parking lots fill up faster and faster. I parked in the West lot which is twice the size as the East and it was almost full by 9:15a on a Sunday morning. When I left at 10:15, I...More

Easy but steep. Took our 4yo and he was dragging his rear on the way back up. No one was there and it was wonderful. We enjoyed taking photos of the area and having it all to ourselves.

The smell along the trail was awful--sewage. Small waterfall. Lots of people in the water and on the rocks so it was hard to get any uncluttered pic. Easy wide path though.
