The tour is reservation only with a donation of$5. Great for adults, not so much for children or teens as they might get bored. Lovely home and grounds with rich history. Worth the couple of hours it takes to go thru the home!

What a find! Our tour was interesting and the house is beautiful. It was as though the family still lives there and their lives are frozen in time. Thank you to the hospitable staff who made our visit very worthwhile.

Very beautiful step back in time. Beautiful home with artifacts and lots of history. Reservations required for tour of main house. Carriage house is free and self touring. Very interesting to step back in time for a little while!

I love visiting old homes, and this is one of the nicer ones. Everything in the house actually belonged to the McFadden family. Not things that were brought in to furnish a period home. The McFadden's were prominent in the history of Beaumont and Texas....More

Six of us LOVED our tour!! What a jewel for Beaumont; and the docent and visitor center staff could not have been more hospitable. We're coming back and bringing our families! Amazing!
