This wasn't my first trip and it certainly won't be the last. What a spectacular place in a spectacular location. The setting is amazing, and the amount of land will take your breath away. The house is meticulously restored to its original grandeur, where no...More

The Biltmore is a must see attraction while in Asheville, the estate is beautiful. That being said, the tickets are just too expensive for what you get which is a self guided tour of the property. Also a lot of walking including up and down...More

We were there on a post-Christmas Saturday in January with bitter cold temperatures. Parked in the park and walk lot. It's probably only a 1/4 to a 1/3 if a mile, but if I were doing it again, I would do park and ride. But,...More

We did the wine tour as well as the candle lit self-guided tour. We probably walked seven miles! Make sure you wear some good walking shoes and bring a good camera!

We visited with friends and it was as good as ever. It’s a bit cold right now but of course indoors it was fine. The winery was excellent as usual and right now it wasn’t too crowded.

Second visit to the Biltmore Estate did not disappoint! It was chilly but the staff was efficient. Recommend going in the morning- not as much traffic. They have a special going on for the next 2 months, free audio guides! Loved the history, the views...More

I enjoy relaxing weekend evenings by the gazebo listening to live music while children frolic in the grass, and sunset walks by the river.

I was surprised by the lack of large directional signs being the main tourist attraction and got lost and stopped a couple of times to ask directions. Fortunately a cashier at a waffle house gave me clear directions.
