I have lived in the Asheville Area since 2009. I have been to the Biltmore Estate two times. The second time, I went was only because family wanted to see the site. It draws a lot of people, mostly tourists, because of the name. The tour of the home is so-so. One time is enough. They have added some new... More

While a tour of the Biltmore house is pricey, going on a Friday was worth the trip! It was getting crowded as we left the house to see the gardens. We arrived at 9:30 and left the winery by 4:30. It really was a gorgeous day!

You will need more than one day to see everything. So much to see, especially in the Spring time. Take all the tours you possibly can.

We were very impressed with our visit to the estate. The attention to every detail is unbelievable. The flowers everywhere really add a great feel.

This is such a magnificent house and can be appreciated by all ages! They have self guiding tours for kids too! There is so much to see it can be a bit overwhelming so we split our tour up into 2 days. First day exploring the house which took about 1.5 hours and the second day we did the Upstairs... More

I wasn't all geared up for this trip but after we got there what an amazing place. Take the extra tours of the roof and the basement, you have to see the pool. Get there early buy your tickets ahead of time this place gets crazy busy. Do the valet parking well worth the money you get to park right... More
