We weren't there to buy food, but instead to kill time on a very rainy day. There was lots to look at and the vendors were all friendly. The produce looked great! The garden shop prices were at least 50% higher than what we're used to, but they had a huge inventory and you could make choices.

There are few places where you will find so many different types of southern specialties as you will here. From country ham to fruit pies, they seem to have it all. It's a treat just to walk and look at the items. We've been here multiple times, and still find something new each time. Allow 45 minutes to an hour... More

This was my return trip to the farmers market. The vendors are friendly and helpful, even at 15 minutes til close. I recommend a visit!

There is a wide variety of products. Items such as: vegetables, condiments, jelly, jams, honey, baked goods, craft items, fudge, nuts, and much more. There is a small restaurant with great sandwiches and more.

Taking time to visit farmers markets are fun. This one was inside and offered so much. Veges, beans, honey, jams, deli items, crafts and more. The vendors were very nice and helpful.

We think farmers markets are a great place to visit to get an idea of the local food that is available. There was a lot of quality produce, local foods like honey, jam and meat products. We were at a stall that had many varieties of dried beans, so we bought some that we wouldn't be able to find in... More

My husband and I were in Asheville and decided to check out the Farmers Market. What a good idea. There were at least 3 buildings and had lots of fresh produce, crafts, honey, and meat. Everyone was very friendly. Wish we lived closer to visit here weekly.

When I went to Cara's corner to buy spices, the woman at the register charged me over 70.00 on what should have been a 20.00 bill. That authorization holds for three business days, meaning that my entire grocery budget for the week would be unavailable to me from Saturday to Wednesday, When my husband asked the cashier to be more... We went for apples & weren't disappointed! They had samples you could try to see which you wanted. There were tons of varieties to purchase & I thought they were reasonably priced. The permanent buildings had a variety of canned goods as well as fresh vegetables. A really nice market!

This is a place worth going to as you head out of Asheville. There is a small variety of local art. The gourd art was the most impressive. There is a multitude of local produce selections along with some from Florida and Mexico.
