Lovely inn. Just fantastic with its history, grandeur. Would love to visit again and stay over. Staff was friendly, even to those just passing time wandering in this historic hotel. Recommend a stop if in Asheville, even just for a drink or lunch at one of many Resturant/ bars. See this fantastic place for yourself. Also, if you are into... More

I wanted to hate this place. I mean seriously, does the world really need a grotto-style spa with twinkling lights above the lap pool, which also happens to have relaxing music pumped through underwater speakers? Is a good massage really enhanced when you wait for it in a softly lit "fireside lounge" where talking is discouraged and everything smells like... More

The spa at the Grove Park is a day in heaven. We spent the day sitting in the mineral water pools, hot tubs and saunas. The massage is wonderful. if you are looking for a day of wine with girlfriends this is not the place, two drink minimum. Please make sure you make your appointment before you arrive, the appointments... More

The spa is huge with a lot of different options. The outside area is fantastic even in the winter. The cool thing about the spa was that it was both relaxing but not to uptight. Plenty of people were outside drinking and being lively, but other parts of the spa offered tranquility. Helen was my massage service provider and gave... More

My husband and I spent the day at the spa. We enjoyed all the pools and a glass of prosecco outside. We also enjoyed the spa amenities that were just for men or women (sauna, steam room, contrast pools, etc...). The design of the spa is amazing with all the stone work and lighting. It truly is world class. I... More

I had always wanted to indulge myself with a day of pampering and finally had a chance right before Christmas at the Spa at Grove Park Inn. I had spaced three treatments through the day with the Gentlemen's Mountain Stream Foot Treatment in the morning, gentlemen's manicure in early afternoon, and a late afternoon Arnica & Hot Towel Massage for... Did not start at this inn but went to visit at the recommendation of the Asheville Visitors Centre. The building is amazing, made out of big stones. The foyer is huge with 2 massive fire places to keep warm by. The place also has a fabulous views of the mountains. Well worth a visit

We had a great time at GPI. We were placed in a corner suite and greeted with chocolate covered strawberries and 2 bottles of wine. The suite was huge with beautiful views. We dined at the Edison, The Vue and the Blue Ridge for breakfast and Sunday brunch. All were enjoyable. The breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch were exceptional! A... More

We spent Christmas at the Grovepark Inn. It was beautifully decorated and with the friendliest staff. I highly recommend the spa. It's totally worth the money and spending several hours lounging by their under cavern pools. Right next to the spa entrance is the Spa Cafe that serves the best oatmeal I've ever had. It's all anyone orders there. We... More

The staff is excellent in all areas of the hotel, especially the woman who checked us in and Dave, one of the bell hops(?). The restaurants are first class and they're a great place to spend an anniversary. We were there after the annual gingerbread competition and the gingerbread display all around the hotel was fun to see. Ah, now... More
