What a great idea - multiple "booths' featuring local artisans in an old converted Woolworth's store. Nice to be able to find so many nice artisan products in one location. Bonus is the replica of an old Woolworth's lunch counter which had great sandwiches, ice cream, milkshakes, etc!

This is an original Woolworth Store location with the Soda Fountain still intact. The space is wide open with stalls designated for artists to display and sell their work. There is a nice mix of jewelry, paintings, photographs and ceramics. The soda fountain has flavored sodas and sandwiches. We enjoyed a chocolate soda and sat at the vintage high tables... More

We went into Woolworth Walk not knowing what to expect. What a great surprise of all kinds of art, all from local artists. Jewelry, photography, paintings, metal works, fabrics.....and so much more. All is high quality. The even have an old fashioned soda fountain.

We underestimated this place, as it doesn't look like much from the outside. We intended to do just a quick walk through before heading to the galleries on Biltmore Ave. Found several nice pieces that we purchased, and got to appreciate a range of artists. If you're short on time, the upstairs is more interesting/talented than the lower level.

The woolworth walk is located in the repurposed Woolworth store in downtown Asheville. There were probably 50 booths on 2 floors of wonderful work by local and semi-local artists. There was also an old-fashioned soda counter. I didn't have lunch but the food items I saw were yummy looking. We were there in the Winter so it was a nice... More

A fun place to browse and shop for local arts. All kinds of artwork - some bizarre, some beautiful. All in all a great place to take a stroll and enjoy an hour.

We stopped by the Woolworth Walk to have lunch at the soda fountain and browsed the gallery afterwards. The repurposed Woolworth building is a gem, the soda fountain is a nostalgic treat, and the works in the gallery validate Asheville’s reputation as a magnet for gifted artists and crafters. Visiting this place was a LOT of fun. The next time... More

One of my favorite places to visit in downtown Asheville. There's always new artworks to see & at all price points to purchase.

some fun shops, but mostly, local artists, peddling their wares. If you've been once, that will pretty much cover it.
