This is a well maintained and beautiful Basilica. The guided tour was very informative. We met Father Thomas who was warm and welcoming. A definite must see when in Asheville.

We appreciate the beauty of a church/cathedral. Had visited here before but not during Christmas and it was lovely.

We read the TripAdvisor reviews before visiting and are happy that we made the stop. One reviewer wrote that it was worth a 5 minute visit. I would agree. The stained glass is amazing. A nice piece of history. Next to downtown. Free parking.

This is a very pretty church. The ceiling is a very unusual elliptical dome. The stained glass windows are lovely. The information brochure about the church was really interesting.

We were looking for something to do for about an hour and stopped by the basilica. So glad we did. The history is interesting and the elliptical dome is beautiful. We enjoyed teaching our younger daughter about Catholic traditions while there.

Because the information on the website is vague I used the "contact us" information to email my questions on hours of operation. Received a prompt response.
