We saw North Mississippi AllStars at the Orange Peel. It is such a cool place for a concert because it is relatively small. It is mostly like a dance hall with a stage. If you get there when doors first open, you can get a...More

This was my first visit to The Orange Peel, and based on some of the reviews I was unsure what the evening was going to be like. I attended a sold out show, and while the crowd was dense, it was not nearly as packed...More

No one from Tennessee or anywhere besides North Carolina should go here and waste their money. Which is a shame since it’s so hard to get good metal shows close to here. I have been to this club a few times, and I’ve always had...More

I recently just went to a show here and the show was amazing! But it was worse then pulling teeth trying to get in. I have never been publicly attacked the way I was here; so embarrassing. My three friends and i had our IDs...More

What a great place to see a live show! I have been many times since I moved to Asheville. Always on point. The acoustics are great and staff is always friendly. They also do a great job of getting in a nice variety of acts....More

This is a great place to see a concert. I love smaller venues for music. They only sell beer inside. Wine is sold out on the deck, and you have to stay outside with it.

Place was dark and smelly and staff very unfriendly. They serve liquor downstairs in the Pulp, only beer upstairs, (because of liquor laws in NC). But judging by their efforts, it's just a way to charge you a lot more for drinks. Don't bother.

Normally a small, general admission (read: no seating) music venue, it doesn't serve well as a comedy venue because of poor setup. Small, uncomfortable chairs were crammed into the entire venue, and you were shoulder-to-shoulder with either smelly hippies or some hipster who can't help...More

The Orange Peel is a good small concert venue. Capacity of around 1,000 people. Generally a standing only venue. Very busy calendar, often with popular alternative acts. The layout is a little more wide than deep. It's hard to be very far from the stage...More

HUGE fan above the floor. We loved how cool it stayed during the concert. Never been to an indoor concert where i didnt almost sweat to death, until we went here.

If there's a show, that's not an option. The bar is on edge of concert viewing area.

Reasonable. Mostly local micro brews. $3.50-$6. Bar is called pulp and is in basement. Typical Asheville prices. Good, energized live music venue
